Assessments
Forward Exam/Dynamic Learning Maps
- Students in grades 3rd-8th & 10th participate in the Forward Exam/Dynamic Learning Maps. The exams are administered in March & April. All grades are tested in Math and ELA; students in grades 4th, 8th, & 10th are also tested in Social Studies and students in grades 4th & 8th are tested in Science. Exam results are sent to students and families in August or September. Tests are given in the classroom based on test type, length, and schedule.
- The purpose is to see students progress and growth in these subject areas along with the entire state of Wisconsin.

ACT with Writing
- Students in grade 11 will take the ACT with Writing which includes Reading, Math, English, Science, & Writing in March or April. The exam is given by classroom teachers in a controlled environment based on ACT guidelines. Exam results are sent to students & families in May.
- ACT with writing results can be used for college admission, scholarships, course placement, and NCAA eligibility.

ACCESS
- ACCESS for ELLs is administered to all K-12 students identified as English Learners to determine their level of English language proficiency and ensure that they are progressing in achieving full English proficiency. The ACCESS test is given in December and January
- Families receive results by June, as well as placed in their cumulative folder.
- Results will lead to an English Language Plan that is updated each year with involvement and input from the families and then shared with teachers.

PreACT Secure
- Students in grades 9th and 10th grade are assessed using the online PreACT Secure in the areas of English, Reading, Mathematics, and Science. Testing occurs in March and April with scores released to families in September. Exams are given by classroom teachers in a controlled environment based on ACT guidelines.
- PreACT Secure scores predict how students will perform on the ACT and their readiness for college-level coursework.

Act 20 (Reading Readiness)
- Students in grades 4K - 3 are given the AIMSWeb universal screener to assess students' reading knowledge in varying capacities (comprehension, fluency, etc). Students are assessed three times a year (fall, winter, and spring). Data is collected and personalized plans are created for those students below the 25th percentile. Diagnostic tests (AIMSWeb) are used to focus on specific target areas (i.e., fluency) for students resulting in small group instruction during WIN (RtI) time. Parents are in constant communication regarding assessment results, informational letters, and progress reports, including their PRPs. Student growth and monitoring are discussed monthly in grade-level communication with licensed interventionists.
