Mrs. Lang’s 1st Grade Classroom Behavior Expectations
The rules in our classroom are quite simple. Treat the teacher and others as you want to be treated. Below are some specific expectations:
Listen when the teacher is talking.
Keep your hands to yourself.
Sit in your seat.
Raise your hand.
Consequences for not following the rules will be verbal warnings, talks in the hall with the teacher, loss of recess time, letters/emails/calls to parents, and for severe and/or repeated actions, a visit to the principal.
Rewards for good behavior will be class rewards which will be voted on by the students, individual and class praise, good notes/phone calls/emails home to parents, free time, and choosing from the treasure chest.
