    2.  WARM UP AND STRETCH  EACH DAY
    3.  PARTICIPATE IN ACTIVITIES / LIFTING
    4.  PRE AND POST TESTS OF MAX LIFTS
    5.  JOURNAL SHEETS / PROGRAM
    6.  QUIZ /ASSIGNMENTS

     

    **GRADES WILL BE BASED ON TOTAL POINTS AND AVERAGED

       TO GET A PERCENTAGE OUT OF 100%.

     

    GRADING SCALE:

    A  = 93 -100% C  = 73 - 76%

    A- =  90 - 92 C- =  70 -72

    B+=  87 - 89 D+=  67 -69

    B  = 83 - 86 D  = 63-66

    B- =  80 - 82 D- =  60 -62

    C+=  77 - 79 F   = BELOW 60%

     

    RULES:

    1.  ALWAYS WARM - UP
    2.  STRETCH AFTER LIFTING ALSO AND EVEN INBETWEEN SETS.
    3.  NEVER LIFT WITHOUT A SPOTTER WITH FREE WEIGHTS!
    4.  ONLY LIFT WEIGHT YOU CAN CONTROL!
    5.  LIFT DELIBERATELY AND COME DOWN THE SAME WAY!
    6.  WORK UP TO HEAVIER WEIGHTS GRADUALLY!
    7.  DON’T HURRY A LIFT!
    8.  NEVER ARCH YOUR BACK!
    9.  EXHALE WHEN YOU LIFT  - INHALE WHEN WEIGHT COMES DOWN!
    1. SAFETY MOST IMPORTANT!
    2.  NO CELL PHONES IN CLASS WITHOUT TEACHER PERMISSION.
    3. ONLY APPROVED MUSIC MAY BE USED.

     

    BASIC INFO:

    1.  LIFTING WILL BE 4 DAYS A WEEK.
    2.  ACTIVITIES WILL BE 1 DAY A WEEK.
    3.  PROGRAMS WILL BE BASED ON THE FOLLOWING:FLEXIBILITY, STRENGTH, POWER, ENDURANCE,CONDITIONING, AND TONING, & SPORT SPECIFIC!

          4.  NO CUT-OUT OR TORN SLEEVELESS SHIRTS!

    1.  TWO PROGRAMS WILL BE COMPLETED DURING THE SEMESTER.
    2.  YOU MUST LIFT THE PROGRAM YOU CREATE IN ORDER TO RECEIVE YOUR DAILY POINTS.



    PLEASE REMEMBER THAT YOU EARN YOUR GRADE, I DO NOT GIVE IT TO YOU.  USE YOUR TIME WISELY!! THIS CLASS IS AN ELECTIVE CLASS!  THAT MEANS YOU ENROLLED IN CLASS TO LEARN, LIFT AND WORK OUT!
