ACT REGISTRATION
The registration deadline for the June 14th test date is Friday, May 9th. This is the last test date for this school year. Registration packets are available in the Guidance Office.
SENIOR AWARDS NIGHT
Senior Awards Night will be held on Wednesday, May 14th at 7:00 pm in the high school old gym. All seniors, parents and friends are invited to attend.
CHORAL SPRING CONCERT
The Junior High Chorus, High School Chorus and Show Choir will be performing in their annual Spring Concert on May 8th beginning at 7:30 pm in the high school old gym.
The choir and band students who received a *1st rating at the District Solo/Ensemble Contest will be performing at the State Contest on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at UW Stevens Point all day.
BAND NEWS
There will be a beginner band parent information/sign up meeting on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 7:00 pm. This meeting will take place in the elementary cafeteria.
On Friday, May 9th through Saturday, May 10th, 5th grade through 8th grade will have a band lock in at the elementary school. It starts Friday night at 6:00 pm with pizza for supper.
GREENHOUSE SALE
The Auburndale High School Greenhouse sale will be held on May 8th & 9th from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm. Available are hanging baskets - 10" & 12", cocoa baskets, bedding plants, annuals, and vegetable plants. These are all locally grown plants by AHS horticulture students. Proceeds benefit agricultural education. Think Spring!!
BOYS BASKETBALL CAMP
Any boys entering grades 4-9 interested in playing basketball for Auburndale are strongly encouraged to participate in the Auburndale Boys Basketball Camp on June 16th through June 20th. This is a great opportunity for the boys to be instructed by their future coaches. As part of the camp, the boys will be given a t-shirt and basketball. Registration slips can be picked up in the high school or elementary school offices. To guarantee a shirt and ball, please have your registration slip and payment in by May 16th. TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK
May 5-9 is National Teacher Appreciation Week. This is a time when parents, students and community members can thank the Auburndale School District Staff for their hard work. If it were not for these dedicated individuals our schools would not function efficiently.
AUBURNDALE AREA YOUTH FOOTBALL AND CHEERLEADING PROGRAM
Registration for the Auburndale Area Youth Football and Cheerleading Program will be on Thursday, May 8th and Friday, May 9th in the Elementary School Cafeteria. Registration times are from 5:30 to 7:30 pm with a mandatory meeting at 6:00 pm each night. Any student who will be entering 3rd and 4th grade in the fall should attend Thursday night's session. Any student entering 5th and 6th grade in the fall should attend Friday night's session. Families with students in multiple grades can attend either night. Cost is $75 for cheerleading and $85 for football. Multiple family discounts are available.
