811.1 - PARENTAL CONTACT
Logs will be kept of all telephone attempts to reach parents and for parent attempts to reach teachers. If after several attempts to involve parents in their child's program no response has been received from the parent, certified letters will be mailed to those parents which will provide the district a record of valid proof that every possible attempt has been made to inform parents of student progress or problems. A record of the conference which takes place as a result of the telephone calls or letters will be logged and signed by all parties present when parents have responded to the communications.Adopted: October 17, 1979
