455.11 - SECURITY FOR SCHOOL ACTIVITIES COMMITMENT
It is the goal of the School District of Auburndale to place the safety and welfare of individuals as a top priority. Security during all school activities shall be provided. In cases where it has been determined by the school administration that the contracting of a law enforcement officer is desired for supervision of a school event, it shall be the responsibility of the school to arrange for the police coverage.Payment for the above mentioned law enforcement coverage shall be paid for with school district funds. Coverage for all co-curricular events shall be paid for with funds from the General Fund (Fund 10). All school related student recreational or social events shall be paid for with funds from the Student Activity Fund (Fund 60). In the event that there are not sufficient funds available in Fund 60, Fund 10 will be used to cover security expenses.
