443.5 - ELECTRONIC PAGER OR TWO-WAY COMMUNICATION DEVICE
The School District of Auburndale prohibits any student from using and possessing an electronic pager or two-way communication device while on the premises owned or rented by, or under the control of, the School District of Auburndale. The school board or it designee, the district administrator, reserves the right to grant permission for the use or possession of such a device by a pupil for medical, school, vocational uses. Determination for any such permission must be verified in writing by appropriate and approved medical or appropriate personnel, and placed in the student’s permanent file. All verifications must be renewed each quarter.Adopted: October 21, 1992
