343.2 - HIGH SCHOOL CLASS SIZE
To insure that all secondary school course offerings meet the dual criteria of offering students an adequate educational program and being cost effective to district residents, the Auburndale School Board establishes the following minimum class sizes.1. No elective class will be offered without a minimum starting enrollment of fourteen (14) students.
2. Classes with an enrollment of less than fourteen (14) students may be offered with the permission of the District Administrator.
3. Independent study and aides' classes are exempt from the minimum class size requirements.
4. An attempt will be made to offer classes with low student enrollment numbers in alternate years.
