SCHOOL DISTRICT OF AUBURNDALE
SPECIAL BOARD MEETING
MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2011

The meeting was called to order by Vice-President Cheri Dimick at 6:02 p.m. in the District Office Meeting Room in the Elementary School. The Vice-President read the Compliance with the Open Meeting Law and Statutory Notices.

Members present were: Douglas Reding, Bob Haupt, Cheri Dimick. Excused: Marleen Knutson.

Mrs. Dimick declared the meeting legal.

Douglas Reding moved, Bob Haupt seconded, to approve the agenda. Motion carried.

The Board reviewed written responses to two questions submitted by Karmin Bolder and Brian Lang who are candidates interested in filling the board member vacancy.

The Board asked questions to the two candidates alternating as to who would give the first response. Members had a chance to ask more specific questions and to reflect on the answers from the candidates.

Douglas Reding moved, Bob Haupt seconded, to offer Karmin Bolder an invitation to fill the vacancy until April 2011 on the Board. Roll call vote: Bob Haupt, yes; Douglas Reding, yes; Cheri Dimick, yes.

Cheri Dimick adjourned the meeting at 7:05 p.m.
