SPECIAL BOARD MEETING
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 27, 2011
The meeting was called to order by President Douglas Reding at 6:30 p.m. in the District Office Meeting Room in the Elementary School. The President read the Compliance with the Open Meeting Law and Statutory Notices.
Members present were: Michael Hansen, Douglas Reding, Bob Haupt, Cheri Dimick and Marleen Knutson.
Michael Hansen moved, Bob Haupt seconded, to declare the meeting legal. Motion carried.
Marleen Knutson moved, Bob Haupt seconded, to approve the agenda. Motion carried.
Bob Haupt nominated Cheri Dimick as President. Cheri Dimick nominated Michael Hansen as President. Other nominations requested three times. Secret ballot was done. Michael Hansen was elected President by secret ballot.
Douglas Reding nominated Cheri Dimick as Vice President. Other nominations requested three times. Bob Haupt moved, Douglas Reding seconded, to cast a unanimous vote for Cheri Dimick as Vice President. Motion carried.
Cheri Dimick nominated Marleen Knutson as Clerk. Other nominations requested three times. Bob Haupt moved, Douglas Reding seconded, to cast a unanimous vote for Marleen Knutson as Clerk. Motion carried.
Bob Haupt nominated Douglas Reding as Treasurer. Other nominations requested three times. Marleen Knutson moved, Cheri Dimick seconded, to cast a unanimous ballot fro Douglas Reding as Treasurer. Motion carried.
Cheri Dimick moved, Bob Haupt seconded, to nominate Marleen Knutson as Board representative to the CESA #5 Annual Convention. Motion carried.
Marleen Knutson moved, Cheri Dimick seconded, to designate the District Mirror as the official newspaper for the publication of Board minutes and the Marshfield News Herald as official newspaper for legal notices. Motion carried.
Douglas Reding moved, Bob Haupt seconded, to affirm all present school board policies. Motion carried.
Marleen Knutson moved, Bob Haupt seconded, to select Michael Hansen as delegate and Cheri Dimick as alternate to the 2012 WASB Joint Convention. Motion carried.
Marleen Knutson moved, Bob Haupt seconded, to adjourn the meeting at 6:38 p.m. Motion carried.
