453.63 - DO NOT RESUSCITATE
In emergency situations, students wearing an official white DNR bracelet recognized by the State of Wisconsin will be treated as required by Wisconsin Statutes Sections 154.17 through 154.29. and Administrative Code Chapter HFS 125, according to the following procedure:

1) district staff will phone 911
2) district staff will contact district medical assistant
3) district staff will contact student’s parent(s)/guardian(s)
4) appropriate comfort measures will be given to student until EMT's arrive
5) other students and staff will be evacuated from the immediate area
6) student will be turned over to EMT's for appropriate medical care upon their arrival

Note that a DNR order only applies to a student eighteen years of age or older. 154.17 (4)
