SPECIAL BOARD MEETING
WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 16, 2011
The meeting was called to order by President Douglas Reding at 7:00 p.m. in the District Office Meeting Room in the Elementary School. The President read the Compliance with the Open Meeting Law and Statutory Notices.
Members present were: Michael Hansen, Douglas Reding, Bob Haupt and Marleen Knutson. Excused: Cheri Dimick.
Marleen Knutson moved, Bob Haupt seconded, to declare the meeting legal. Motion carried.
Michael Hansen moved, Bob Haupt seconded, to approve the agenda. Motion carried.
Marleen Knutson moved, Bob Haupt seconded, to adjourn into closed session pursuant to Wisconsin Statute 19.85(1)(c)(e) for an update on the 2009-2011 Master Contract negotiations with the Auburndale Education Association. Motion carried.
Bob Haupt moved, Michael Hansen seconded, to reconvene into open session. Motion carried.
Michael Hansen moved, Bob Haupt seconded, to adopt the 2009-2011 Master Contract as ratified by the Auburndale Education Association on February 16, 2011 which reflects negotiated language and a total compensation package of 3.8% per year including the adjustment for a $5,000 maximum benefit choice plan. Roll call vote: Michael Hansen, yes; Douglas Reding, yes; Bob Haupt, yes; Marleen Knutson, yes.
Marleen Knutson moved, Michael Hansen seconded, to adjourn the meeting at 7:47 p.m. Motion carried.
