Regular school board meetings will be held on the third Wednesday of each month beginning at 7:00 p.m. or as otherwise designated, and shall be open to the public in accordance with open meeting law provisions.
Special school board meetings may be held anytime during the month and are based on the needs of the board. Special meetings of the Board may be called upon the request of any member to the Clerk.
All school board meetings shall be held in the School District of Auburndale. The place shall be designated in the posting of the agenda. All agendas will be posted at the elementary and secondary building entrances. Agendas will be posted forty-eight (48) hours prior to the actual meeting whenever possible.
Public notice of every meeting (regular or special) shall be given at least 24 hours prior to the commencement of such meeting unless for good cause such notice is impossible or impractical, in which case shorter notice may be given, but in no case will the notice provided be less than 2 hours in advance of the meeting.
